Academy role for Duff

Michael Duff has formally announced his retirement as a player and has accepted a coaching role within the academy at Turf Moor.
It brings to an end a 12-year career as a Burnley player which started with a debut against Sheffield United in August 2004 as the league season kicked off and ended with his cameo appearance at Charlton two days ago.
Michael Duff has been a credit to our club for 12 years and I don’t see that changing as he hangs up his boots and takes on this, as yet unnamed, role within our academy.
Good luck in your new role Duffo and a massive thanks for the last 12 years.
