Bardsley and Guðmundsson could be fit for Old Trafford
Burnley are back in Manchester tomorrow night, this time against United at Old Trafford, and there is a chance that both Phil Bardsley and Jόhann Berg Guðmundsson could be fit for the Premier League game.
With Matt Lowton ruled out with a toe injury, the availability of Bardsley, who also sat out the cup tie at Manchester City, is key for the Clarets who will want to keep the same back four that has played in recent league games.
Manager Sean Dyche said in today’s press conference: “We are waiting on Jόhann Berg Guðmundsson and Phil Bardsley. I’ll also find out more about Robbie Brady’s injury today. There are a number of situations in the balance. We’ll see if those bodies are back tomorrow. It will be helfpul if they are.”
