Brady and Drinkwater getting closer
Neither Robbie Brady nor Danny Drinkwater will be in the squad for Sunday’s game at Wolves but both are moving closer to breaking into the first team with Drinkwater set for a debut against Sunderland in the League Cup.
Speaking at today’s press conference, Sean Dyche said that Brady is nearly back and has trained with the first team while Drinkwater (pictured) had 90 minutes in the week, to add to the 45 minutes in the Professional Development League game against Coventry, and could be involved next Wednesday although this weekend is too soon.
Dyche said of Drinkwater: “”He’s definitely bought in to what we’ve offered him. He is mixing well. He knows there is a demand. He know’s he’s got to earn the right to play.”
