Burnley bottom after latest home defeat
Today’s 3-0 defeat against Chelsea means we’ve dropped to the bottom of the league, behind both Sheffield United, who were beaten by Manchester City earlier today, and Fulham.
It’s a fourth successive home league defeat, including last season’s finale against Brighton, and we’ve now won just once at Turf Moor in eight Premier League games since the 3-0 win against Bournemouth back in February.
No goals scored in the first three home games of a league season. That’s the first time since Chris Waddle was manager and, I believe, the first time ever in a top flight season.
