grounds padiham 10This weekend sees the second international break of the season and brings with it Non League Day which was introduced seven years ago to give non-league clubs the opportunity to promote themselves on a weekend when the top 44 clubs in the country are without games.

Non League Day 2017 is also promoting Prostate Cancer UK and Padiham Football Club are fully supporting the day and have made an offer to Burnley season ticket holders for their home game against City of Liverpool FC which is already expected to attract a big crowd.

Padiham would like as big a crowd as possible, both as a boost for their club and to help their support of the charity and, as such, are offering all Burnley season ticket holders half price entry to the game.

They are planning a big day with a few things lined up and that includes local band The Switch who will be playing in the clubhouse bar after the game.

It’s a great opportunity for Burnley fans to support their local non-league club. If you do live locally then you will be made very welcome at The Arbories, home of Padiham. If you are not local, there are many non-league games scheduled on Saturday where you will be very welcome.

Kick off at the Arbories is 3 p.m. this Saturday – a proper kick off time.
