Burnley have reportedly made a bid for Derby County midfielder Jeff Hendrick which has been turned down by the Championship club.

The fee is believed to be in the region of £3.5 million for Hendrick who played in all of Ireland’s games in the recently ended Euros.

Hendrick, aged 24, has been with Derby throughout his career. He came through their academy before turning professional six summers ago. He’s gone on to play over 200 games for them and scored 27 goals.
