Frost signs for Brighouse
Jamie Frost, released by the Clarets at the end of last season, has signed for Brighouse Town who play in the EvoStik League First Division North.
He spent over ten years with us until his release but was a victim of the strange management in the youth department in recent years that saw him become a scholar at the age of 16 yet not be included as a regular player in the youth team. He hardly played for them and was usually involved with the development squad but not getting enough football.
Despite showing real promise in the youth team as an under-16, his career did seem to stall and led to the inevitable parting of the ways in May. He’s taken some time out and has now signed this deal with Brighouse who play in the same league as some of our local clubs such as Clitheroe, Colne and Ramsbottom United.
