Tom Heaton back with England

Tom Heaton wasn’t in Roy Hodgson’s initial squad for the friendly internationals against Germany and the Netherlands but he’s received a call up this morning following an injury to Joe Hart.

Heaton will now join fellow goalkeepers Jack Butland and Fraser Forster with Roy Hodgson saying: “Tom has been with us on several occasions and I am welcoming him back into the fold.”

City’s Raheem Sterling has also been ruled out but, at this time, there is no replacement for him.
