It’s Muric for a third game in Wolves draw
Burnley drew 1-1 at home last week against Wolves and for the third time in three games since his return to the team it was goalkeeper Arijanet Muric who won the man of the match and the player ratings.
He won the man of the match this time with 32% of the vote, followed by midfielder Sander Berge who won a 25% share. Vitinho, back at right-back in the absence of the suspended Lorenz Assignon, was third with 17% while Josh Cullen claimed fourth place with 8% of the vote.
Although his player rating was nowhere near as high as in the previous two games, Muric was again the winner, this time with a rating of 7.87 out of ten with Berge again in second place having rated 7.65. Dara O’Shea was third with a rating of 7.02, just ahead of Jacob Bruun Larsen who took fourth place with a rating of exactly seven out of ten.
Muric has won another ten point maximum in the Up the Clarets Player of the Year Table with Berge winning six points. Both O’Shea and Vitinho picked up two points with one point each for Cullen and Bruun Larsen.
Berge is just about on the brink of winning the player of the year. He now has a lead of 59 points over second place O’Shea with Lyle Foster just a couple more points behind.
