Called off last Monday at Curzon Ashton, the Premier League 2 home game against Nottingham Forest was quickly rescheduled for this afternoon once this evening’s Premier League Cup tie against Sheffield United was called off.

Michael Jackson’s team will be looking at arrest a slide that has seen us lose our last three games against Fulham, Aston Villa and Stoke, which has seen us drop to eighth in the table. Our last points came at Birmingham on 1st November when we came from behind to win 2-1 with goals from Ne-Jai Tucker and Michael Mellon.

Our opponents are currently twelfth in the table with five points less than us although with a game in hand. Their last win was at Middlesbrough in September, a 1-0 win courtesy of a Will Swan goal.

Today’s game will now be played at Gawthorpe, kicking off at 1 p.m.
