Which is your choice of best away performance?
From today, and until the end of Thursday, we are inviting you to vote once more on last season, to choose what you thought was our best away performance of the season.
There is a better choice than there was for the home games in 2020/21 with a total of 11 games to choose from, six wins and three draws in the Premier League and two away wins in the cup competitions.
In the league, I’m not expecting many votes to be cast, if any, for the three draws, all of which were 0-0 at West Brom, Brighton and Aston Villa but there are very definitely a number of strong candidates from the victories.
Two of those came in the cup competitions. We beat Millwall 2-0 in the League Cup and recorded a comprehensive 3-0 win against Fulham in the FA Cup. The first of the six league wins came at Arsenal, our first win there since 1974 and a first ever at the Emirates and it was another first since 1974 when we beat Liverpool at Anfield.
Since that win at Liverpool, we’ve also won at Crystal Palace, Everton, Wolves and, for a second time in the season, Fulham who we beat 2-0 to ensure we would be playing Premier League football again next season.
All of the eleven games are listed below. They can also be found, if viewing the desktop version of the site, on every page below the monthly archive links. You have until the end of Thursday to cast your vote.
