Albrighton signs new deal at Leicester
One player not coming to Burnley this summer is Leicester City’s Marc Albrighton with the East Midlands club confirming this afternoon that he’s signed a new deal with them.
Albrighton, aged 31, had just one year remaining on his contract. Burnley were keen but Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers was reportedly as keen to keep him at the King Power.
“I have always been the type of player and person who wants to establish himself at a club and stay there. I’m settled here and I’m really enjoying it.”
Albrighton joined Leicester from his first club Aston Villa in the summer of 2014 and has gone on to play over 200 league games for them.Share this page :
