AFC Wimbledon won 2-1 last night at AFC Sudbury in the second round of the FA Youth Cup to set up a third round tie against the Clarets which will be played at their new Plough Lane stadium.

They won it despite having to play virtually the whole of the second half with ten men after they had a player sent off to set up a repeat of the tie from six years ago when we beat them 2-1 in the same round with goals from Ntumba Massanka and Brad Jackson.

Should we go through to the fourth round, our potential opponents is now down to a choice of two. Newport beat Brockenhurst 3-2 after extra time last Saturday and will now play Spurs away with the winners travelling to Wimbledon or Burnley in round four.
