Cup draws for Burnley’s dev squad and youths
The development squad and the youth team will be playing in various cup competitions this season. We’ve already brought you news of the opposition for the Youth Alliance Cup and now can reveal details of three other competitions.
The youth team have been given a tough draw in the Lancashire FA Youth Cup with an away tie against Bury.
The development squad have, this season, re-entered the Lancashire Senior Cup but we’ve received a bye in the first round. However, in the Premier League Under-23 Cup (a change from the previous Under-21 Cup), coming in at the first round as a category 3 club, we have received a home draw against Bournemouth.
There are no confirmed dates for either of the two games nor any details on when we might learn our first opponents in the Senior Cup.
