The Premier League kicks off tomorrow night when Leicester travel to the Emirates to face Arsenal while we are on the road to Chelsea in two days time as our season gets underway. That means the Up the Clarets Youth Foundation fundraisers, Fantasy Premier League and the First Goal Sweep, are also ready for the 2017/18 season.

fpl 1718At the time of writing, the prize fund for the fantasy game has reached £495 which is exactly where it was on the Thursday morning ahead of last season. You’ve still time to get involved before the first weekend although we will accept entries up to the cut off time for the second set of fixtures.

For every entry received, the prize fund will increase by £5 with the remainder of the entry fee donated to the youth foundation. It costs just £10 per entry (£10.60 if using Paypal).

If you would like to join us, please click HERE for the full details. We will send you the league code on receipt of your payment.

fgs1718Around 11 p.m. tomorrow, the draw will be made for the Chelsea game First Goal Sweep. It’s been a regular since November 2007 when it was launched for the Leicester away game which the Clarets won 1-0 with an Andy Gray goal.

It’s raised over £8,200 for the youth foundation since and has certainly paid out considerably more in prize money. It costs just £1 per game to enter with a minimum entry of five games and the prize currently for the Chelsea game is £30.

Please click HERE for more details and how to join. Any entries received before the cut off of 11 p.m. tomorrow will be included for the Chelsea game.

Last month, we were able to fund our youth team’s entry into the Generali CEE Cup in Prague in which we finished as runners up, losing to Everton in the final. It was fantastic that we were able to do that and those who have entered these two competitions over the years have been a big reason why we were able to do so.
