After three seasons at Curzon Ashton, the under-23s have a new home from next season with the majority of our home games to be played at the Lancashire FA County Ground, sharing the facilities with Blackburn Rovers who will continue to use the same venue.

Steve Stone, who it appears has now returned to his role as under-23 head coach, said of the move: “We have always enjoyed playing at Curzon. They have been excellent hosts to us over the past few seasons and we thank them for that.

“But this is a good move for us at a time when we’re going into a higher level of football and we’re looking forward to playing at the LFA. Having played there a few times over the past couple of seasons we know the quality of the pitch and the facilities.

“It’s also a little closer to Burnley for supporters who want to come and watch the team and so it should be a good move for everyone.”

We will be required, under the rules of the competition, to play some home games at Turf Moor.
