Two draws and two defeats since have seen us drop from top to fifth in the league and we now come up against Sheffield United who are currently bottom of the league although they’ve got games in hand on every team above them.

Whilst we were drawing last week, Sheffield United were losing 4-0 at Bolton, a result that saw Bolton go top and the Blades, for the first time this season, drop to bottom.

The home game against them was played on 11th November. We won the game 1-0. a result that kick started a run of five successive wins that only ended with this recent run of four games. Dylon Meredith (pictured), with his only goal of the season so far, scored the winner.

Kick off tomorrow morning is 12 noon at the Sheffield United Academy. For anyone in the area, the address is Firshill Crescent, Sheffield, S4 7DR.

Please note the kick off time. It was originally due to kick off at 11 a.m. but has now been put back by one hour to allow the pitch an additional hour to thaw given the weather forecast.
