Youths face Bury tomorrow
Burnley’s youth team travel to Bury tomorrow on the back of a seven game unbeaten run in the league which has seen us go above our opponents who were, for a considerable number of weeks, top of the league.
We’ve already played them twice this season. They beat us 2-1 in the Lancashire Youth Cup in September with our goal scored by left back Kwasinkosi Mpofu but, after suffering three successive league defeats, we kicked off this unbeaten run with a 2-1 home win against them; RJ Pingling and Nashe Chakwana scored our goals.
Last season they beat us in both games. In the home game we lost 3-1 with Josh Dolling getting the goal and later in the season we fell to 3-0 defeat in the away game, the first in that long line of defeats that ended the season.
Kick off tomorrow is 11 a.m.
