Our game at Leicester will be shown by the BBC

The Premier League clubs have today agreed that all September games will be shown live on television while the grounds remain empty.

Our first game against Leicester, always likely to be moved due to the Sheffield United League Cup game, will now be played on Sunday, 20th September at 7 p.m. with the game being shown live on the BBC.

One week later, our first home game of the season against Southampton will also be screened. We are awaiting confirmation of when the game will be played and which broadcaster will be carrying it. This article will be updated as soon as it is confirmed as will the FIXTURES page.

That takes us into October when, at best, it will be smaller crowds. We await news of how the Premier League will approach that with season ticket holders at clubs hopeful they will be able to see their teams play even when not able to attend the game.

This first change comes after the pressure placed on the league by supporter groups across the league along with the Football Supporters Association and includes Burnley FC Supporters Groups.
